About Us — North East Voyagers

My name is Navajit Sarma. I am the founder of NorthEast Voyagers, a travel agency based in Guwahati.

North East Voyagers was established in 2012. We began our journey in the tourism industry with just one vehicle. Through years of hard work, focus, and dedication, our service began to earn the trust of our customers. One by one, tour operators across Guwahati started associating with us. We made it our promise to deliver exactly what we committed to our partners — and even more — by consistently providing high-quality service.

As the demand from our customers grew year after year, we kept adding new vehicles to our fleet. From 2013 through 2019, we continued to expand and raise the standard of our services.

In 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic brought the world to a standstill, and our business was no exception. We faced an extremely difficult period — we could not even pay the EMIs on our bank loans. However, our faith in God and the goodwill we had built with our customers over the years saw us through. Despite lakhs of rupees in unpaid EMIs during the pandemic, not a single account of ours was classified as NPA.

As soon as the pandemic passed, we returned to the business with greater energy, enthusiasm, and confidence than ever before.

Today, in 2026, our fleet has grown to 128 vehicles, making us one of the largest tourist transport operators in Guwahati. This success belongs to everyone who has supported and trusted us along the way, and I remain sincerely grateful for that support.
